1. Scrotal Recall is a pretty great British show, but, really, that title, why?

2. Why are you smoking? It’s 2015! Put that shit down. Step away from the vapor. Be cool. Live longer. Get rid of that lung hacking. Take control of your own life! Stop smoking 3 packs a day/a cig a day/weird white shit/whatever else it is you’re doing. Or not. I’m just trying to help! Sorry!

3. Stop telling me about all your hilarious “snaps”! I don’t need this technology! UGH. It’s not my fault all my electronics are ancient! Great. Now I’ll never know what you’re all up to.

4. Don’t go back(wards).

5. Update! I tried Snapchat again! And I accidentally opened all of my “snaps” at once and therefore did not see a single one of them! Ooops. Forget it! I’m terrible at this. Never mind! Continue having fun without me.

6. Don’t be afraid of your own words.

7. Sooo, Horns is the strangest/weirdest/best/worst/most intense/most terrifying/creepiest movie I’ve seen ever in my entire life! I don’t know if that’s a recommendation to see it, but, I also don’t feel like those two long hours were entirely wasted! You decide. Also contains Daniel Radcliffe w/American accent, if that’s not interesting enough.

8. All my babies are graduating! And by that I mean young friends, not actual babies. I’m not that old! Oh god! Am I?

9. America. How have you not stopped in your tracks and thought to yourself, “Holy shit, why don’t we let people who love each other get married?” I have! Lots of people have! What are you doing? Aren’t we supposed to be a great country? How simple is this problem to solve? Pretty simple. Ireland did it! Ireland!

10. Love people much more than you hate anything.

Today’s the day. (The sun is shining. The tank is clean.)

That’s right, it’s voting day! For us Americans, anyway. Which is my point.

I hope you’ll all be out there voting today. I don’t care who you vote for, I really don’t. That’s not the point.

The point is, we belong to this country. (AMURICA!) The point is, voting is how we voice our voice (yeah?). I don’t understand the people who say that they’re not going to vote. What? Does that mean you don’t like having freedom? Weird.

There is no logical reasoning behind not voting if you’re able. There’s just not. So, vote, please. Do your civic duty! To both yourself, and your country.

I’ll be voting later today. This will be the first time I’ve ever participated in a presidential election (I was 17 the last time – barely missed it!). I’m kinda excited, in a slightly nerdy-American-y way.

“Yay! I’m an American citizen! I’m gonna go use my freedom and vote!!!!” – a thing I may or may not have said.

I see a lot of my friends and peers acting in the same way, and I’m glad. I don’t want to be a generation of people who don’t pay attention.

I’ve heard a lot of “I don’t know who to vote for”, and, “I don’t really like either of them!!!”. To me, that sounds like uneducated talk. You’re already on the computer, typing that onto Facebook. Why don’t you instead go to Google and get to work? This isn’t a game, and it’s important.

I won’t say who I’m voting for, because there’s this secretiveness to voting that I really like/appreciate/respect. And, as I said, I don’t care who you vote for.

If you’re one of those people who still aren’t 100% sure you’re voting for the correct candidate, isidewith.com is a great place to get some non-biased, important information rather quickly. It also tells you about your local voting issues, too.

Finally, I’ll leave you with a quote. I hope you vote today, America. See you after all this craziness is over.

“We do not say that a man who takes no interest in politics is a man who minds his own business; we say that he has no business here at all.” -Pericles

What does an ideal day consist of for you? I’m talking anything. If you could spend your days any way you’d like, what would you do? How would you spend them? What would bring you the most joy, the most satisfaction, the most happiness?

I want an answer. A solid, real answer. No wishy-washy stuff: “Oh, I’d like to have some money, and just, you know, do… stuff.”

Where would you work? Who would you be friends with? How would you spend your time?

You know they say that “you can be anything”, you can do anything, yatta yatta. And you really can. It all depends on you.

I believe that 100%. That’s what makes life so scary – you only have one of them (Not going to say YOLO right here, don’t worry!), and you can do whatever you want with it (it’s all up to you!), and the choices that you make in your life cannot be reversed.

That’s scary, right? They don’t make video games like that – you have an endless supply of lives! You have a “mission” or “goal” to achieve to beat the game. You can go back to an old save if you accidentally kill someone and/or buy something you can’t afford (a giant house, maybe? A car? A kid?)!

What are you going to do with your life? Or, what are you doing with your life?

I can’t really answer any of these questions that I’ve been bombarding you with. I don’t really have a life plan. Sure, I know what I don’t want to do, I know who I don’t want to be friends with, I know how I don’t want to spend my time. I have a lot of those vague wishy-washy dreams – and they seem to be working out pretty well for me so far.

Ok, here’s one more question: If you know where you want to be, and who you want to be, and I told you that I could make you into that person right now – would you accept my offer? Would you become your “dream self” right now?

Or, do you want to spend your time – however long it takes – struggling to become that person?

Maybe I can’t answer this question fairly because I don’t really know where it is my life is heading – I am sort of automatically taking the latter option.

Does it matter if you have the ability to be anything you want to be if you don’t know what it is that you want to be?
